In Defense of Takeda Katsuyori

Takeda Katsuyori is a figure that is often looked down upon due to his decision making at the battle of Nagashino. A significant defeat that would later lead to the clan's demise. But was he really a bad leader? In this video I make an argument in defense of one of Japan's most notorious figures. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sources: "Samurai Battles" by Michael Sharp Passages from "The Chronicle of Lord Nobunaga" by Ota Gyuichi "Samurai Weapons & Fighting Techniques" by Thomas Conlan "Kawanakajima 1553-64" by Stephen Turnbull "Nagashino 1575" by Stephen Turnbull The Japanese Wiki Corpus: https://www.japanese-wiki-corpus.org/...
