Divine Fury: Myth as Symbol

Mythology is the interaction of symbols in narrative form; this video essay analyses this thesis through examples of Odin, Krishna, and Yggdrasil -- the World Tree. This essay draws on several sources: the videos of Dr. Jackson Crawford, Snorri Sturluson's "Prose Edda", Carl Jung's essay "Wotan" on the psychological aspects of Odin and his fury, Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil" (briefly), as well as the Bhagavad Gita.
