EQ pt 1 | Entiende el Espectro de los Medios y la Ecualización de tu Guitarra Cortará en la Mezcla

EQ pedals are among the least understood, and it's very common to make mistakes when configuring them. In this first part of this topic, I share my understanding of frequencies and the adjectives I give to the bands within the midrange spectrum, according to their tonal characteristics. I'm starting with a 5-band configuration that's not usually found in more popular pedals. However, it's crucial to first understand these 5 bands, as in subsequent installments of this topic, we'll understand the formats of EQ pedals and also learn how to configure the Global EQ. All pedalboards or modelers have different EQ formats available, whether you use Ampero, Neural, Quad Cortex, Helix, Fractal, Headrush, Tone X, Amplitube, Mooer, Nux, Valenton, etc. So no matter what brand of digital processor, plugin, or analog gear you use, be sure to include an EQ block in your sound design to further refine your sound.
