Ashmore Estates - Haunt ME - S7:E4

Ashmore Estates - Remembering and honoring those who spent time within these walls, and those who never left. Continuing their paranormal road trip across the mid west, the Haunt ME team stops next in Ashmore Illinois to investigate a notable paranormal mainstay surrounded by miles of corn; Ashmore Estates. Originally opened in 1916 as part of Coles County Poor Farm, the estate knew tragedy all too well as some of its inhabitants perished in terrible accidents, before transitioning into use as a psychiatric in the mid 50's. This site fell abandoned in the 1980's and began to rot away, lost to time before restoration work began in 2006 which continue today. This trifecta of ghostly ingredients attracted the Haunt ME team, both through history and the volumes of paranormal lore. Due to the nature of this location, Carol, Anna, and Ty stressed the need to complete a day time investigation in hopes to capture any residual activity from those who worked the estate during it's first identity, before transitioning the ghost hunt through the night. From graveside visits, object manipulation, having dinner with the hard working spirits, to planting a monument to their memory, Ashmore was an incredibly unique haunt for the team as each investigator worked to make the spirits comfortable and communicative.
