This video covers days 6-9 of our Italy-Switzerland trip, from January 12 to 20, 2025. We traveled on a package tour with 20 people, and we used a large bus to travel between Italy and Switzerland. Check-in and departure at 11 AM. Arrival at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome at 1 AM (5 PM Rome time). After arrival, have dinner and stay at a hotel. Day 2: In the morning, take a van to visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Mouth of Truth, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. In the afternoon, visit the Vatican City, visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica, and stay overnight in Rome. Day 3: Travel to Florence for 3.5 hours. From the summit, we admired the Swiss snow-capped mountains and the vast sea of ​​clouds. We descended by cogwheel train and then took the cable car back down into the clouds. In Lucerne, we saw the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, took a cruise, and then traveled to Varasse, Italy (3 hours and 10 minutes). We stayed at a hotel. Day 7: From Varasse, we traveled by bus and train to La Spezia, two villages of Cinque Terre. Tour (Vernazza, Manarola), travel from La Spezia to Montecatini Terme, and stay at a hotel. Day 8: Travel to Orvieto (2 hours 30 minutes), visit the Orvieto Duomo, and transfer to Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome. Return home.
