[1986] George Howard • "Love Will Follow" [Full Album]

Perhaps my favorite album from one of my top sax players, the late George Howard who left us too soon in 1998. I can't really express how special this album in particular is to me...takes me back to the peak of '80s Jazz Flavours on Atlanta's 94Q-fm, where I heard the tracks "September Rain", "It Can't be Forever," and of course the lovely rendition of Kenny Loggin's Love Will Follow from '85, originally ft. David Sanborn (RIP). I've always admired Howard's ability to absolutely shred it, while keeping things mellow for an unforgettable listening experience...makes me wonder what further gems he would have brought into the jazz scene if he was still alive today.
