Fetal neurosonography is multiplanar evaluation with combination of axial, coronal and sagittal planes. It is commonly accepted that targeted fetal neurosonography has a much greater diagnostic potential than does the basic screening examination and is particularly helpful in the evaluation of complex malformations.
