That question opens Part 3 of our By Faith series — and the answer isn't complicated. You do it by faith. In Hebrews 11:7–12, three extraordinary lives show us what that actually looks like: Noah — Spent nearly 100 years building an ark for a flood that had never happened. He was mocked, criticized, and considered foolish. But he kept building because he trusted the word God had spoken. Faith is a process: first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn. Abraham — Left Babylon — one of the most advanced cities of the ancient world — to live in tents in a land he'd never seen, heading toward a destination God hadn't revealed yet. He obeyed before he had a map. And God gave him a vision: lift your eyes north, south, east, and west — and walk through everything you see. Sarah — Received strength to conceive at age 90 because she judged God faithful who had promised. God spoke a word of life into a dead situation. It took strength to conceive that word and hold it to full term. The thread through all three: God plants a picture on the inside of you.
