Suzuki intruder 1500 no start definite fix.

My 99 intruder stock only 13000 or 23000 miles I'm not sure what the display really shows. Bike just clicks like a battery? Half turn like a dead battery or bad connection or loose ground? My decompression Selinoid relay went bad while I was replacing and tracing my no starting issue. Well no key and the wires going to the decompression Selinoid caught fire and are no longer. I did a mod 3 thinking that would solve my labored starting after I bought a gbatt. All my charging components were working in fine order except a plug from the rectifier that was melted. Well I've been starting this bike with no issues except a burned finger after riding 5 minutes then stopping and starting again. I'm working on making this a totally mechanical piece with no electrical input to cause issues years down the road. Should be simple to do and mounting will be the battle. Ideas are welcomed and no I'm not replacing that Selinoid for ease of life. I like things thst work every time and reliable all the time. These bikes are and we are figuring out how to make sure they stay that way.
