Many post-tribulationists cite 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 to claim that Jesus will only return after the manifestation of the Antichrist. In this case, the Church would have to confront the man of sin, the son of perdition, throughout the tribulation period. What a fallacy! The apostle Paul says exactly the opposite! The Church is not waiting for the revelation of the Antichrist, but rather the imminent Rapture, which is the triggering event for Christ's return! In fact, post-tribulationism forces the Bible to say what it doesn't say when it confuses the "Coming of the Lord and our gathering together with Him" with the "Day of the Lord." For us, pre-tribulationists, the Day of the Lord should never be confused with the rapture of the saved, which precedes the personal revelation of the first Beast, an agent of Satan.
