Also in the Spanish Quarter, on Via Concezione in Montecalvario, during the night, Carabinieri officers from the operational unit discovered and seized a stolen semi-automatic pistol under the seat of a scooter—without license plates and considered stolen—complete with magazine and cartridges, and a pair of latex gloves. Another weapons seizure occurred the day before yesterday. In Pignasecca, the same officers found, hidden in the stairwell of an apartment building, near a child's bicycle, a loaded 6.35 semi-automatic pistol with its serial number removed and eight rounds in the magazine.
