From Life Itself: Turkey, Istanbul, & A Neighborhood in the Age of Erdogan w Suzy Hansen
Author and journalist Suzy Hansen has lived and reported from Turkey for more than a decade. In a new book, she looks at how Turkey has evolved over the past several decades, not just as a result of the long leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but geopolitics, including the Syrian civl war that broke out in 2011, the growing migration problem across Europe, and globalization. She discusses the book with me.
