Spinning for wild trout in Scotland - I went to a super remote part of the Scottish highlands where brown trout swim freely in the wild lochs. Trout are active predators and love taking spinners, so i went after them with ultra light tackle to tempt them with mepps spinners and hard baits. Before anyone says... "yOu NeEd a pErMiT". No you don't. I of course checked with all the local landowners and none of them list these lochs as fishing lochs, while some are even nameless on the maps. These lochs are wild as they get and are probably almost never fished.
