Steel Seed Review - A Surprisingly Fantastic Stealth Game
Steel Seed is yet another indie title that managed to surprise us. It comes courtesy of newly formed indie studio Storm in a Teacup, whose lead dev worked on the Hitman series in the past. And the pedigree shows. The stealth feels really satisfying here, with a bevy of tools at your disposal to, well, dispose enemy robots with. The melee combat is a more simplified affair, with only a light and strong attack and perfect dodge to save yourself. But thankfully, the game varies up your toolkit with a drone companion named Kobe, who’s capable of shooting a variety of projectiles and scouting environments. Traversal takes the 3D platforming route, with beams and large gaps being just a couple of the interesting obstacles.
