A/C Compressor Replacement | 1994 Chevy K1500 (ICE COLD A/C!)

In this video, I replace the A/C compressor, accumulator (receiver/drier), and orifice tube on my 1994 Chevy K1500 after the air conditioning stopped blowing cold. What started as a simple compressor replacement turned into an interesting diagnosis. While tearing the system apart, I discovered evidence that someone had worked on it before—and the old orifice tube was completely missing! After installing the new components, adding the correct amount of PAG oil, pulling a vacuum, and recharging the system with R-134a, the truck is finally blowing ICE COLD air again! If your OBS Chevy A/C isn't cooling, is short cycling, or has low high-side pressure, this video may help you diagnose the problem and save you time and money.    / @benwrenchin      • Replacing A/C Pressure Switches And Why I'...      • Aftermarket LED Headlight Install | 1994 C...   A/C Compressor Kit https://amzn.to/44GF47P A/C Manifold Gauge Set https://amzn.to/3R8PTwo A/C Vacuum Pump https://amzn.to/4xWP2iZ Freon R134a Refrigerant https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/f...
