Land Rover Suspension Repair Gone Wrong… The Lift Failed - C1A07-62

What started as a simple Land Rover suspension fault turned into an “Oh my god” day… Our Land Rover developed a front left height sensor / cross articulation fault C1A07-62 after suspension work, sending the car into limp mode into the bump stops. We checked the sensor, wiring, connector, link rod play, and used the GAP tool to diagnose the air suspension. And then — while the car was still on the lift — the chain on our two-post lift snapped. So this episode became two repairs in one on a Sunday evening: fixing the lift safely enough to get the car down, shortening and tensioning the chain, cleaning and lubricating the system, and then continuing the hunt for the suspension fault.
