What's your favorite fairytale? The fairytale in brief: Once, there was a poor woodcutter's family with two children, Hansel and Gretel. There wasn't enough food, so the stepmother suggested leaving the children in the forest. Hansel and Gretel overheard and were inconsolable. But Hansel said, 'Don't be afraid, sister. I have a plan!' The next day, the family went to gather wood. Along the way, Hansel dropped breadcrumbs. He made a trail back home. Deep in the forest, they rested, and Hansel and Gretel fell asleep. When they woke up, they were alone. And the breadcrumbs had been eaten by the birds! Dejectedly, they wandered until they saw a gingerbread house.
