Five Long Minutes of Thirteen Stroke Rolls
The thirteen-stroke roll is one of the most common rolls in pipe band marches. They are commonly found at the end of phrases or used to emphasize quarter note passages in the pipe tune. A drum corps can win or lose a contest based on the unison of their "end of phrase" thirteens. It is a simple yet important rudiment, not to be overlooked!
