Chocolate Orange Cupcake Recipe | Acorn Bakes

Hey guys! Back with a new recipe for chocolate orange cupcakes. These cupcakes are perfect for the autumn and winter time, plus they look fabulous and are easy to make. In the video I also show you how to make your own dehydrated fruit too. This recipe makes 12 cupcakes, I hope you give these a go! Ingredients for the chocolate orange cupcake: 200g of caster sugar 150g of plain flour 25g of cocoa 1 + ½ teaspoons of baking powder Pinch of salt 200ml of warm milk (whole or semi skimmed) 1 egg 50g of melted butter 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (or any flavourless oil) Zest of one large or two regular sized oranges (bake at 160C) Ingredients for the chocolate orange buttercream: 250g of butter 500g of icing sugar 50g of cocoa Zest and juice of one orange Ingredients for the sugar syrup for dehydrating: 250ml of water 200g of sugar 50g of glucose syrup your fruit of choice (e.g oranges, lemons, apples, pears, kiwi) Check our the written recipe for the chocolate orange cupcakes here: https://acornbakes.com/2017/11/27/cho...
