There's Nothing Quite Like Riding Miles of Loam | Bike The Whites

I recently came back from a trip to squamish where they had alot of trails like these purposely built for MTB, but this isn't squamish. This is in my backyard in the mountains of NH. Our mountains almost entirely consist of this type of terrain, but the trails are usually extremely rugged and it's hard enough to hike let alone bike. The discussion came up this week with my buddies and I agreeing that we could have quite possibly the best trails in the world in this region if MTB was embraced like it is in BC. Even though we may not see that come to fruition in our lifetimes, atleast we've got trails like these to tide us over. This ride could quite possibly be the best intro to biking the rugged trails in our mountains. If you want to learn more and help maintain trails like these consider joining the Mad River Trail Collective.
