The Association Agreement between Mercosur and the European Union represents one of the largest free trade zones in the world. For Brazilian agribusiness, the agreement opens unprecedented opportunities for market access, but also imposes significant challenges related to socio-environmental compliance and new European regulations (such as the EUDR – Regulation for Deforestation-Free Products). In a scenario of climate change and pressure for decarbonization of value chains, Brazil needs to consolidate its image as an agro-environmental power. This webinar seeks to promote a direct dialogue between the private sector and Brazilian government negotiators to understand the current state of the agreement and how companies can prepare for the new reality of transatlantic trade.
