5 Metre Walls, Door Frames Everywhere | House Renovation |EP6|
In this episode I take on three areas at once: the upstairs landing, the staircase, and the hallway by the front door. All of them needed serious preparation before any paint could go on. That meant scraping loose paint, filling damaged plaster, sanding, and taping some very tall corners in the stairwell. The walls here reach nearly 5 metres high, which makes even simple jobs far more awkward than they should be. Add to that what feels like an endless amount of door trims and skirting boards that all needed prep and paint. Slow work, messy work, but it’s one of those stages that completely changes how the house feels once it’s done.
