One Square Foot of Florida - Building a T-Trak Module

A standard single N Scale T-Trak module is a 12.5x13 inch box with two tracks in a specified location and whatever the module's builder wants to put on the rest of it. T-Trak is the name for a set of modular standards that allow for a model train layout to literally be snapped together out of many individual identically sized sections, or modules. I've wanted to try my hand at building model railroad scenery for a while now, and a T-Trak module has shown itself to be a perfect proving ground. Join me as I build my first T-Trak module. For this module, I am going for a Florida swamp or Everglades scene. I used a pair of mirrors to create a still water effect, then built the terrain up using Sculptamold. From there it's turf materials, trees, bushes, ballast, and so forth until a square foot of Florida sits before me in miniature.
