Nakuru-Eldoret highway accident

One person died on the spot and six others are currently nursing injuries following a road crash involving seven vehicles at Migaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. The collision involved two private cars, a passenger bus that was headed to Rwanda from Nairobi, a mini-truck and three trailers at Migaa area near Salgaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. Rongai police boss Joseph Kioko says the crash occurred at around 9.30pm on Sunday. One of the trailers that was carrying maize from Eldoret lost control and collided with the other cars along the busy highway resulting in a traffic snarl-up. The driver of the trailer died on the spot.
