"Out of Space" is the legendary fourth single by the English electronic music group The Prodigy, released on 9 November 1992 through XL Recordings. Written and produced by band mastermind Liam Howlett, it serves as a definitive anthem of the early 1990s UK rave scene. It was featured on their critically acclaimed debut studio album, Experience. The Famous Samples The track is celebrated for its masterful blend of reggae and hip-hop elements overlaid onto frantic breakbeats: The Reggae Hook: The iconic lyric "I'm gonna send him to outer space, to find another race" is directly sampled from the 1976 roots reggae track "Chase the Devil" by Max Romeo. The Hip-Hop Vocal: The rapid-fire line "I'll take your brain to another dimension, pay close attention" is sampled from the 1988 track "Critical Beatdown" by Ultramagnetic MCs, performed by rapper Kool Keith.
