Interior Design – How To Decorate A Rental Apartment
We catch up with designer Jennifer Ferreira, whose Toronto home was featured in our second-ever online episode in 2009, to see how she updated her timeless rental apartment with new modern decor. Sticking to a black and white palette throughout, Jennifer focuses on furnishing with classic modern pieces that feature a timeless essence. The living room is styled around the fireplace where a giant gold accent mirror is displayed. The dining area takes on a minimal approach, focusing on architectural details with modern light fixtures and a bold zebra rug. A marble island and refaced cabinets update the kitchen, while abstract black and white wallpaper keeps things interesting in the bathroom.
