I ride without any emphasis on speed or responsiveness. Even so, you'll be able to perform most maneuvers. You might not have many opportunities to practice this, but if you tend to put your feet down immediately, try to be mindful of this. If you observe calmly, you'll be surprised at how slowly the bike is moving. The motorcycle used in driving schools—the CB400SFK—has a great advantage over other motorcycles in terms of its power when starting from a standstill. Also, I believe its maneuverability at speeds below 40 km/h is among the best of all models. When you first straddle it, you might find it heavy, large, and difficult. However, a motorcycle isn't something you push forward with brute force; it's about maintaining balance and control. Weight isn't that important. To take advantage of its characteristics and use it to its fullest potential, the quickest way is to get used to operating it at the lowest power output. These kinds of techniques aren't taught in driving schools. Many driving school instructors teach routinely, and few provide individualized instruction. Therefore, I'm making these videos hoping to provide explanations that are even a little helpful. I would be happy if my videos could be of even a little help in your driving lessons. ■Don't give up on your driving lessons halfway through! Don't give up just because your lessons aren't going well, thinking "I don't have the talent" or "I'm too old for this." If you understand the tricks and why things aren't going well, you can overcome the obstacles. There are simply few instructors who can explain this, or rather, they don't have the time. If they had to explain all that to several students in an hour, they wouldn't have time to actually drive. You often hear instructors yelling things like "Punch!", "Lean more!", or "Go faster!", but take what they say with a grain of salt. It's not necessary, and you can't do punchy driving unless you understand what punch and pucker are. Understanding that comes long after you graduate. Being told things like that before you understand them is like empty platitudes and completely useless. It's pointless scolding; being startled and confused by someone shouting from behind only leads to a loss of motivation. You don't need to be particularly sharp or precise when turning to pass the final exam! Driving lessons and the final exam (legal driving) are completely different things. Being strict for safety reasons is not the same as being arrogant, bossy, or rude. Some instructors misunderstand this. I understand that taking it to heart can make you feel uncomfortable, hurt unnecessarily, or upset, but please don't give up on your driving lessons because of it. I can only make videos, but I'll help! ------------------- My name is White Base. I would be honored to be of service to everyone. We are a small motorcycle shop in town. We are not a driving school, so unfortunately, we cannot accept phone consultations regarding driving lessons. However, requests for videos you would like us to make are welcome. Please send them by email. Please give us a thumbs up if you like it! If you leave a negative review, please include the reason so it can be helpful for future reviews. Thank you.
