● Panasonic washing machine NA-F70D2R. It took me three days to disassemble, clean, and reassemble it. ★Re-edited, voiceover, typos, and some changes. ● This is the second half of the video. It is designed to bend toward you, so be careful not to break it. ● The star-shaped metal that secures the stainless steel tub is aluminum. Is it white powder? It's severely corroded, and I don't think a replacement will be necessary (due to the storage period for the parts). (Since July 2003) ★ Due to severe corrosion on the star-shaped aluminum plate, I applied silicone grease to the recessed areas to prevent corrosion? [After researching, I found that it has corrosion prevention, rust prevention, and water-repellent properties...] ★ During this disassembly and cleaning, I discovered that the stainless steel tub cannot be removed only on Panasonic washing machines. On YouTube, it seems to come apart easily, though. 　　　★ [A GP-100 (B) gear puller is required] ● The washing machine body also had some rust, so I treated it with rust remover and coated it with silicone spray, but I'm not sure if it will last. ★ I was surprised that no black mold had developed after more than a decade of use. ● It's strange that no black mold has developed, even though I've never cleaned it with washing machine tub cleaner. Perhaps it's due to Panasonic's unique self-cleaning mechanism? ● This was my first time disassembling and cleaning a washing machine, so it feels a bit amateurish. I hope it's helpful. ★ Is there a problem with the stainless steel tub lid? The clothes in the tub were unevenly stacked, making for a terrible noise during spin cycles, but I used heavy-duty adhesive and applied it to the four areas where the lid closes. Leaving it for about two hours, then spraying it with silicone spray, allowing it to peel off created grooves, and the lid became quiet and stable. ★ I used silicone grease and silicone spray. I'm not sure how effective it is, but I think it might be good for preventing rust on the screws. I wonder if silicone grease (not PC grease) might be effective on things like plugs and ground wires.
