In this video, I take you along with me and my colleagues from the University to show you how scientific field research is conducted and what happens before scientific papers are produced. I followed my fellow researchers from the “Selvaticittà” project as they studied the Eurasian red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) in urban environments. From the initial stages of field monitoring to data analysis in the lab, we arrived at assessments and suggestions to enable a suitable coexistence between red squirrels and humans.
