In today's video, a Dell Notebook arrived at the test bench completely unable to turn on. During initial tests, I identified a short circuit in the main power line: ⚠️ +19VB short circuit ⚠️ Equipment completely dead ⚠️ Power supply entering protection mode But something else caught my attention… The short circuit only appeared when I connected the flat cable responsible for the webcam. This was already strange, because normally notebook webcams work at: ✔️ 5V ✔️ USB communication ✔️ Low power consumption But this notebook used a 3D webcam, very different from conventional ones. That was highly unusual because most laptop webcams operate on: ✔️ 5V ✔️USB communication But this laptop used a 3D webcam module.
