The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier X takes the original Simplifier concept and expands it into a powerful all-analogue, dual-channel zero-watt amp solution for recording, live performance, silent practice, and direct rigs. Built around two fully independent amplifier sections - Hot-Rod and Classic MK-II - the Simplifier X gives you six analogue amp voices in total, with dedicated controls for preamp gain, power drive, EQ, resonance, presence, cab simulation, and power amp feel. It is designed to deliver the response and flexibility of a real stereo amp setup without needing a physical amplifier, making it a serious tool for pedalboard-based players, home studios, fly rigs, and direct-to-FOH setups. Beyond its core amp tones, the Simplifier X adds a highly practical feature set for modern players. It includes true stereo operation, dual FX send and return routing, three operation modes, onboard reverb with Room, Ether, and Plate settings, stereo XLR DI outputs, 1/4-inch outputs with independent cab sim bypass, an aux input, headphone output, and an included external footswitch for hands-free channel and reverb control. With its all-analogue signal path, flexible cab simulation, silent practice capability, and direct recording-friendly connectivity, the Simplifier X sits in the sweet spot between a traditional amp rig and a compact professional modelling-style setup - without losing the feel and immediacy of analogue hardware.
