OPERATION MARKET GARDEN 🇳🇱 1944 - 2024, Hell's Highway Parade, Jeep drive

On Saturday, September 14, we took part in the Hell's Highway Parade to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Operation Market Garden. The parade started from the battlegrounds of Nuenen all the way to Veghel were our Basecamp was located. During the Hell's Highway route we pass through the villages and cities of Eindhoven, Nijnsel, Son en Breugel, Sint-Oedenrode, Veghel and Eerde. It was very impressive to see the amount of people along the road greeting and waving to us. During this parade, which consisted of 200 vehicles, we also met very lovely people! Please enjoy the video and feel as if you are riding along yourself. Operation Market Garden was one of the largest Allied operations of the Second World War. It aimed to secure the bridges over the rivers Maas (Meuse), Waal and Rhine in the Netherlands in order to outflank the heavy German defences of the Siegfried Line and to insure a swift advance towards Berlin.
