Today we have a truly special car – a Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 S, the only one in the world painted matte black back in 2006. In this episode, Selina and I will drive this unique SLR 722 S and talk about why this model holds a special place in my life. The paint job was done by Brabus themselves, and the job alone cost around €60,000 – without any additional tuning. This color was custom-ordered, and there simply isn't another car like it. When the SLR McLaren hadn't even gone on sale yet, I received an order for two of these cars at once, and I was only 25 years old at the time. That's how my personal connection with this model began – a car that embodies the collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, an era when the supercar was a true symbol of technology, status, and character. ⠀ It's no coincidence that Selina is with me today—after all, it was with her that we participated in the Mille Miglia this year, driving the SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster across Italy.
