Catching BIG Bass in a BASS TOURNAMENT on the Roanoke River // Tourney SZN 23--Stop 2 #bassfishing

Here it is….. I’m fishing in one of the local American Bass Anglers (ABA) divisions in Eastern NC this year. Due to a scheduling conflict, I could not fish in the first tournament on March 18th on the Pamlico/Tar Rivers. This past weekend, the NC Division 17 Central had their second stop on the mighty Roanoke River. In recent years, the Roanoke River has been straight 🔥. Constantly, it takes over 20 lbs to win on the Roanoke River, with this past Saturday being no exception. It was a complete SHOWDOWN on the Roanoke River.  The field faced extreme conditions with on and off rain and sustained winds between 20-25mph, with guests over 40mph + throughout the day.   By the time the scales closed, I had put together a decent limit that locked in at 16.50 that was secured by a 5.60 kicker fish, which was enough weight for second place and a payday of $163 bucks.   Huge shout out to my brother @luke_fishing on the win with a HUGE bag that locked in at 21.90.  ________________________________________________________________ 00:00 - Intro 01:12 - Keeper #1 02:25 - Keeper #2 03:05 - BIG BASS on Topwater/Keeper #3 04:40 - Keeper #4 05:00 - Livescoping Keeper #5 08:10 - Big Upgrade on a Big Swimbait / Cull #1 0:9:44 - Cull #2 11:32 - Cull #3 13:15 - Another Key Upgrade on the Big Swimbait 15:30 - Tournament Results Check out Smokin Baits: https://smokinbaits.com         Use Code “BassinPastor” to save 10% Check out my previous video here:    • Smokin'em on the Smokin Worm #bassfishing ...   If you like today’s video, you should check out the Tourney SZN 23 playlist here:    • Tourney SZN 23   ________________________________________________________________ As shown in the video, I caught fish throughout the day on many lures, including topwater, swimbaits, and a Neko rig.
