THE PONYTAIL PALMS in the GARDEN / BEAUCARNIA RECURVATA / LOVE OF PLANTS 🌻

Hi folks, In this video I show some large Ponytail Palms that are growing in Southern California gardens. I discuss the size, structure , flowering, seed production and growth of this striking species . I address a few basic care points, hardiness, age, and the status of populations in habitat in Mexico. This species is a fun, ‘Doctor Suess’ type plant that can be enjoyed when planted in the ground or container, indoors or out.
