x10 USAF Langley F-22 Raptors join x12 B-1B Lancers at RAF Fairford. | Incredible Friday Arrivals!

A fantastic morning of aviation at RAF Fairford today with a rare arrival of x10 Langley F-22A Raptors, joining the x12 Rockwell B-1B Lancers already stationed at the airbase! There's been a lot of change since the last time we visited RAF Fairford. Two more B-52 Stratofortress bombers joined the existing six that we're already stationed at the base in early June as part of air frame swaps but by early July, all eight B-52's departed back to the US. The B-1Bs also conducted x3 air frame swaps with three new B-1Bs arriving from the states and x3 returning, leaving just 12 Lancer bombers left based at RAF Fairford but today aviation enthusiast were treated to an unbelievable spectacle, when no less than x10 F-22 Raptors returned from Epic Fury operations in the Middle East while basing out of Ovda Air Base in Israel. It almost didn't happen as grass on the runway was cited on the comms chatter with a possible divert to Lakenheath, but thankfully all components came together to make the morning work perfectly, and what a serious demonstration of American air superiority on display here, x10 F-22s and x12 B-1Bs, and of course the resident Dragon Ladies enjoying shade in the hangar today. I’ve certainly never seen anything like it, if we think back to the beginning of March before all this started, Fairford was a relatively sleepy strategic base, and to the numbers we have seen, 8 B52s, 18 B-1Bs, now 10 F22s marking the first time fighters have ever staged here while transiting back home, we may never see this again but I hope we do! | 10.07.2026 I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for watching!
