Bhagavadgita, (Sanskrit: “Song of God”) an episode recorded in the great Sanskrit poem of the Hindus, the Mahabharata. It occupies chapters 23 to 40 of Book VI of the Mahabharat and is composed in the form of a dialogue between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna, an avatar (incarnation) of the God Vishnu. Composed perhaps in the 1st or 2nd century CE, it is commonly known as the Gita. Swami Mukundananda (born 1960) is a spiritual leader, best selling author, Vedic scholar, and authority on mind management. He is the founder of JKYog (Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog) India, a non-profit organization based in Cuttack, Odisha and JKYog, a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, which offers a unique Yogic system, also known as Yoga for the Body, Mind and Soul.
