Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band at the 2023 Grade 1 UK Pipe Band Championships in Lurgan

Presented by The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) in conjunction with Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council the UK Pipe Band Championships were held in Lurgan Park on Saturday, 10 June 2023. This was the third time the championships were held there and the venue continues to be an ideal location for this event. The weather was hot and sunny all day. The first band to compete in the afternoon Grade One competition was Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band. The band's Pipe Major was David Wilton and the Leading Drummer Mick O'Neill. The medley chosen comprised the following tunes: Caoimhe's Quickstep Trip to Moreda Donald MacLean Cavalier Ardanachan MacKenzie's Strathspey Periwig The Flagon The Fairy Dance with a reprise of Cavalier at the end.
