Welcoming Royal Gurkha Rifles to Burnham | New Zealand Army
2nd/1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment recently welcomed personnel from 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR) to Burnham Military Camp with a pōwhiri and haka. The two battalions – who share a significant operational and cultural relationship - will be training alongside each other in the coming weeks on Exercise Pacific Kukri, where they will test their readiness and interoperability across infantry, various combat support capabilities and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS).
