Fall 2025 FD/MAS Alliance Research Update
In 2023, FD/MAS Alliance hosted the first in-person meeting of the International Consortium for Fibrous Dysplasia, McCune-Albright syndrome (ICFDMAS), alongside the FD/MAS Community Conference. Research presentations and discussions culminated in a series of working groups, aimed at publishing a comprehensive review and update of the state of care and scientific understanding in the field of fibrous dysplasia, McCune-Albright syndrome. With thanks to the efforts of researchers and patient participants from around the world, the first of those papers was published in the August 2025 Orphanet Journal for Rare Diseases. Join us with first author Biagio Palmisano, PhD to discuss “Fibrous dysplasia/McCune-Albright syndrome: state-of-the-art advances, pathogenesis, and basic/translational research.”
