I semi-retired in my 40s to enjoy life more. [Stone Garden: Breeding Diary] is a memo for myself as a gardening beginner. This post summarizes the cuttings and transplants I took in my garden over the past month, starting in the latter half of June, as well as the current state of the plants. This is my third attempt at propagating cuttings this season, but due to the intense heat, some of them have already started to wither. I want to give an oakleaf hydrangea to a friend, so I really hope it takes root. I had long been bothered by how much the plant name tags stood out. Switching to zinc tags helped them blend in naturally, giving the garden a slightly more polished look.
