Def Leppard - Love Bites [KARAOKE]

Love Bites is a power ballad by the British rock band Def Leppard, released in 1988 as the fifth single from their album Hysteria. The song became Def Leppard’s only number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also reached the top 10 in Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand, and the top 20 in the UK. Def Leppard is one of the most successful and influential rock bands of the 1980s and 1990s, selling over 100 million records worldwide. The band was formed in 1977 in Sheffield, England, by teenagers Rick Savage, Pete Willis, and Joe Elliott, who were inspired by the new wave of British heavy metal. They later added drummer Rick Allen and guitarist Phil Collen, and achieved international fame with their albums Pyromania (1983) and Hysteria (1987), which combined heavy metal, pop, and glam rock elements. The band faced several challenges and tragedies, such as the car accident that cost Allen his left arm in 1984, the death of guitarist Steve Clark from a drug overdose, and the changing musical trends of the 1990s. Allen learned to play a custom-made electronic drum kit with one arm and his feet, and he returned to the band in 1986. He received a standing ovation at his first live performance after the accident, and he has been an inspiration for many people with disabilities. They continued to make music and tour, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. The current lineup consists of Savage, Elliott, Allen, Collen, and Vivian Campbell, who replaced Clark in 1992.
