Their destination was Bureya Station. My roommate this time was a Russian man with his mother. I was so lucky to have them as roommates, because there was no drama at all. They were also very kind and friendly to us, even though there was a communication barrier. So, we communicated through body language and used a translator when there was a signal. Well, when they were about to get off, I realized I'd been sharing a room with a RUSSIAN SOLDIER. It was a real, real thing. The soldier's name was Jima. I found out when Jima's friend, dressed in a military uniform, came into my room and spoke some English. This is the uniqueness of the Trans-Siberian Railway, as it connects many cities and ultimately becomes the primary mode of transportation for Russian soldiers to their assigned stations. But honestly, they're really kind and friendly. I finally asked for a photo with them, and of course, not forgetting Jima and Mama. Hopefully, I'll see them again soon!
