Test Drive - 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label!
This is a very rare 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label that has a mere 35,000 miles from new and is in beautiful condition. As a Green Label Arnage, it features the BMW sourced drivetrain which is highly desirable for its dependability and ease of servicing. This is a very rare find, with so few miles and in this condition. It is also shown in its original gorgeous and rare Sunset Waterbase livery (Paint Code 9560014). Of course, this Bentley has a clean CARFAX verifying its mileage and condition. From the July 1998 test drive article from MotorTrend: “Designed to be “the world’s most exhilarating four-door driving experience,” the all-new Bentley Arnage is the first model in nearly 60 years with a powerplant uniquely developed for the marque, the first in Bentley’s 94-year history to have a body assembled “in-house” at the Crewe factory of parent company Rolls-Royce, and the last to be brought to market before Rolls and Bentley were bought by BMW.” This Green Label was ordered new on 21st of July 1998 through Euro Motors for Mr. Ken Adams of Richmond, VA. The MSRP was about $205,000. The Bentley was dispatched to the port boarding the “Sealand Atlantic” on the 27th of November and arrived at the port in New York on the 10th of December, 1998. This Arnage Green Label spent most of its life in Rancho Mirage, CA. The Bentley has been with its present owner in Arizona and was consistently serviced at the local Scottsdale Bentley dealership and had consistent service performed. Its original Sunset Waterbase paint is nearly in showroom condition with only a few small imperfections. The paint has gorgeous shine and luster and there has been no paint work or accidents in its history. The 17-inch painted alloy wheels are as-new as well with newer Continental radials (2021). This Bentley has the polished matrix grill vanes. Overall, the exterior is in stunning original condition. The interior is equally gorgeous in its Cotswold hide complimented by Autumn piping and Russett carpeting. The leather is in excellent condition and is soft and supple throughout. The burl walnut wood is beautiful original and features the special ordered Flying B’s applied to the four door cap rails. In addition, the doors have the additional walnut trim added and the rear seats feature the picnic tables. The gauges are beautiful with their ivory facia. Overall, the interior is in stunning original condition. The rear seats naturally recline and are very comfortable. This Bentley comes complete with all of its original books and manuals, build records, many service invoices and more. The beauty of the Bentley Arnage Green Label is the BMW 4 ½ Liter twin-turbocharged V8 that was engineered by Cosworth Engineering with its double overhead 32-value engine and fitted to its BMW supplied five-speed automatic transmission and Adaptive Traction Control. This produces about 350 horsepower and 420 ft lbs of torque, making for exhilarating performance. Launching this 5,300 pound luxury car to 149 mph.
