Shaivamu - Vaishnavamu In this video, Sri Sri Sri Acharya Prabodhananda Yogeeswarlu thoroughly discusses Shaivism and Vaishnavism. He says, today, if you ask Hindus, what is your primary Divine scripture? A majority would say Vedas. God clearly said in the Bhagavad Gita that Vedas are nothing but Maya. The majority of Hindus say those Maya related Vedas are their primary Divine Scripture. He says both Maya and Knowledge exist among us. The strength of Maya is superior to Knowledge in this world. Divine Knowledge faces ups and downs in the physical world. Knowledge loses its glory due to the influence of Maya. That's why God comes to restore his Knowledge. Swami explains how ignorance spread in society. About 2000 years ago, in Kaliyugam, Advaitam and Vishistadvaitam created. Vishistadvaitam called themselves as Vaishnavas. Advaitam called themselves as Shaivas. From then on, the state of ignorance started. Swami says no one is thinking whether they're practicing the ideology of someone who established 2000 years ago, or Nobody is checking whether they're searching for the real Knowledge that's given to us by God way before these ideologies.
