Lunar New Year upload! This is the first song on the zodiac mini album, featuring Makura, Payila, and Anila. Mikoto no Sora focuses much more on the traditional vibes of the zodiacs with traditional instruments and powerful rhythm. The songs complement each other in that this one is applauds how life finds a way, while the DREAMY PARTY TIME is about blowing off steam and having fun. Q. What's the song title? A. In traditional spirit, I left 御命ノ空 simply as Mikoto no Sora. However, the title is referenced in the song itself. While you can translate this plainly as Sky of Life or Skies of Life, I think 御命 is a more poetic word, hence I went with Skies of Exuberance to tie into the poetic spirit and catch both life and liveliness in one. It's about the many beautiful facets of life and the dynamics it brings. Q. What's the song about? A. This song is about how the skies are teeming with all kinds of life, always finding a way forward in spite of everything. This liveliness, this life force, is something to respect and support. Q. Not all the lyrics make sense? A. This song is quite poetic, and involves some references to culture and religion. I tried to streamline those with grace (we don't want translation notes taking up the whole screen in 2025), but if you're interested I encourage looking it up!
