Stignano is a charming village located in Calabria and offers a panoramic view of the Ionian coast. The village is known for its ancient history and cultural heritage. Among the places of interest, Villa Caristo in Scinà stands out, an eighteenth-century Baroque-style residence surrounded by gardens and fountains. No less important for its particular architecture is the Casino or "Castle" in the San Fili area. Stignano is also famous for being the birthplace of the philosopher Tommaso Campanella, whose birthplace can still be visited. The historic center of Stignano has a classic medieval layout, with splendid eighteenth-century buildings such as Attaffi Palace. Among the oldest buildings, Lamberti Palace stands out, the only one with an internal courtyard. In the immediate vicinity of the village is the Convent of Sant'Antonio, characterised by a church with a single nave and a cloister delimited by a portico.
