Carolan's Welcome from The Celtic Lute by Ronn McFarlane
While this tune was originally composed by Irish harper/songwriter Turlough O'Carolan in the late 17th or early 18th century, it had no known title until it was adapted by The Chieftains in 1979. Ronn has created this all-new arrangement of “O’Carolan’s Welcome” for his upcoming album, The Celtic Lute, which includes includes several other O’Carolan compositions, as well as other traditional Irish and Scottish folk tunes.
