BMW iX1 im grossen Kältetest: Ist die Batterie zu klein?

Minus 10 degrees Celsius, a full battery – and then what? I tested the BMW iX1 xDrive30 on the exact same route at three different temperatures to determine its real-world winter range. No Eco mode, no tricks. Comfort mode, 23 degrees Celsius interior temperature, heated seats – just like you'd drive the car every day. The result at minus 10 degrees Celsius: 24.4 kWh per 100 km, a range of around 236 km. At plus 4 degrees Celsius, it's already significantly better, and at plus 10 degrees Celsius, it's down to 17.8 kWh – almost within the WLTP range. For comparison, I also drove the same route with the X1 M35i gasoline engine.
