My First Ever Khmer New Year in Cambodia!
The title pretty much says it all! I got to experience my first ever Khmer New Year celebrations with a bunch of expat friends, but we didn't just go to Pub Street, Siem Reap to go nuts. We first went out to a local village where we played water fights with the village kids after first buying them some water pistols; and anyway, it wasn't about the water fignts, though that was super fun, but about the absolutely amazing sense of community and good wholesome fun enjoyed together. I hope that you can feel even a small part of the fun and joy of the occasion as it was something quite special, and nothing like I've ever experience before, ANYWHERE ELSE! Happy Khmer New Year and be blessed, George #khmernewyear2026 #cambodia #siemreap
